Last night at the MG vernissage, the MG authours where swamped with suporters and fans who came out in force to shore there suport for the Mécanique générale. Here are some words of thanks from Jimmy in responce to the turnout. (english version follows)

MERCI

Jimmy

Last night will remain in my mind a good memory for a very long time, although, three things were missing: the short film we intended to show about our group (which couldn’t be ready on time), Benoît Joly's new book (which couldn’t be ready on time), and «Boréale» beer (ed:local non-preservative riddled brand). Due to new laws for alcohol permits, we had only horrendous Molson to drink (yuck!).

Regardless, the enthusiasm of the crowd was magic on us, making us feel proud and relevant.

Thanks a whole lot to everyone who came.

To the rest, you should come, the exhibit is still up, but only 'til Saturday the 15th at 3pm, not time to waste.

For the last two years, we've been working our asses off like madmen on this « mécanique générale » project and it's so soothing to feel that kind of support it breaks my heart.

Thank you so much, boys and girls!

Bye!

Jimmy

( ED NOTE: I still intend to write a few words of observasion about the show but this will have to wait for a day or so. But I will say here that someone should look into finding another gallery space willing to show this collection for a longer time, to help it get it the attention it deserves. Excellent showing by the MG guys, I’ll be back for a second and third viewing, you're a fool if you are in the area and miss this one. That’s my honest short opinion -salgood)
