Gareth Lind at the Beguiling

A surprisingly-large capacity crowd packed The Greenroom bar at the Bookshelf Cafe in Guelph last night for the launch of Attack of the Same-Sex Sleeper Cells, the first collection of the controversial Weltschmerz strip by cartoonist Gareth Lind. 75 people turned out to see Lind interviewed by Bookshelf comics liason Dan Evans and to have their books signed by the author and participate in a Q&A and slideshow.
Lind talked about his attachment to departed Premiere Mike Harris's nose, the narrative nature of the strip (he plans to publish a graphic novel), and the plague of blogs (ouch!).
