Conundrum Press turns 10!

Andy Brown, publisher of Conundrum Press, sends out this invite to one and all:
Conundrum press turns 10!

And to celebrate we have produced The Portable Conundrum, a 312 page tribute to the one of the most innovative publishers in Canada, featuring new work from everyone who has ever contributed to the press. And that¹s not all! We will launch the anthology at a huge party:

Thursday, May 18 / 8:30pm / Mainline Theatre, 3997 St. Laurent / free

Many people will be coming from out of town and the event will feature a set
from the legendary Montreal band American Devices. There will be readings,
screenings of animation, and performances from: Catherine Kidd, Andy Brown,
Golda Fried, Liane Keightley, Dana Bath, Howard Chackowicz, Meg Sircom,
Valerie Joy Kalynchuk, Victoria Stanton, Vincent Tinguely, Marc Ngui,
Corey Frost, Suki Lee, Julia Tausch, Shary Boyle, Maya Merrick, Joe
Ollmann, Nathaniel G. Moore, Elisabeth Belliveau and Robert Allen.

Elizabeth Bachinsky is the author of Home of Sudden Service (Nightwood
editions), and Curio: Grotesques and Satires From the Electronic Age
(BookThug, 2005).

Jennica Harper's work has appeared in Larger than Life: An Anthology of
Celebrity (Black Moss Press, 2002). In 2003, her long poem, The Octopus, was
a finalist for a National Magazine Award.

Michael V. Smith's novel, Cumberland (Cormorant Books), was nominated for
the Amazon/Books in Canada First Novel Award. Recently,
Smith won a Western Magazine Award for Fiction, scooped both short film
categories at Toronto's Inside Out festival, and was nominated for the
Journey Prize. What You Can't Have is his first book of poems.
