Shot in the Arm for D&Q

The grants were awarded as a result of "a special competition aimed at strengthening their current operations by enhancing their artistic, administrative or audience development activities," according to a press release.
Is D&Q going into the retail storefront business a la Fantagraphics?
A grant of $35,000 to Drawn & Quarterly, a Montreal-based publisher of graphic novels, which will enhance its presence in the local community by operating a "public space" for activities related to the publication of its books. Labels: events, grants, publishing, Quebec
