The result will be a revelation to anyone not familiar with the sorts of movies that get made on borrowed camcorders. The acting is good, the lighting is bad, the story is effective and funny. It's even got one shot, an exterior done at the University of Toronto's Scarborough campus, that's compositionally striking enough to be the centrepiece of an art film. Which this is not.
