MensuHell To End Monthly Publication

The long-running Quebec comics fanzine MensuHell will cease publication on a monthly basis by the end of 2008, according to a post on the BDQ forums (see translated version here). According to MensuHell editor/publisher Francis Hervieux, "the MesnuHell as you know it is coming to an end." The zine has showcased a wide array of Quebec comics talent since beginning in 1995. The zine was originally titled Requin Roll Presente but changed to MensuHell and more regular publication in 2000. Each month the zine presents a combination of serialized comics, historical articles, gags, and short stories, ranging from the work of first-timers to well-established pros and writers about comics.Labels: bd, publishing, Quebec, zines
