Sometime-Canuck Cartoonist at Centre of New Yorker/Obama Cover Flap

Cartoonist Barry Blitt drew this caricature of Michelle and Barack Obama as Angela Davis and Osama Bin Laden for the New Yorker, spawning all sorts of chatter for what is an essentially pale gag in the Edward Sorel manner, spoofing the popular representation of the current bogeyman and -woman of the U.S. Right.
